Psychedelic Preparation & Integration Support
Non-Therapeutic, Non-Facilitating, Presence-Based Work Psychedelic experiences can open profound psychological, emotional, and spiritual territory. Often, the most consequential work happens before and after the experience. I offer psychedelic preparation and integration support for individuals who are considering, have previously had, or are reflecting on experiences with psychedelic or non-ordinary states of consciousness. This work is non-facilitating and non-therapeutic, and does not involve the administration, sourcing, supervision, or guidance of any psychedelic substances. My role is to support preparation, reflection, and integration, not to provide therapy or psychedelic facilitation.
Important Scope of Practice Clarification
This service is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment. I am not trained or licensed as a therapist, and this work does not diagnose, treat, or manage mental health conditions. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or medical treatment. Instead, this offering is best understood as educational and reflective support focused on existential and contemplative exploration, presence-based conversation, and meaning-making. Clients are encouraged to maintain care with licensed mental health or medical professionals when appropriate.
What This Work Can Support
This work may support individuals in clarifying intentions before a psychedelic experience, exploring fears, expectations, and motivations in a grounded setting, and developing internal resources for navigating intense or unfamiliar states. It can help with reflecting on past experiences without imposed interpretation, integrating insights into daily life, relationships, and values, and processing existential themes such as mortality, grief, identity, purpose, and love. It may also be helpful for re-orienting after experiences that felt expansive, confusing, or destabilizing. Integration is not about revisiting the experience itself, but about living differently afterward.
What I Do and Do Not Provide
I provide preparation conversations focused on intention and readiness, and integration sessions centered on reflection and application. My role is non-directive and trauma-informed, informed by experience in hospice, palliative care, and contemplative practice, and grounded in clear ethical and professional boundaries. I do not provide psychedelic facilitation or guided sessions, do not administer substances or offer dosing advice or sourcing, and do not provide psychotherapy, mental health treatment, medical or psychiatric evaluation, or legal advice related to psychedelic use. All sessions remain within legal, ethical, and professional boundaries.
My Approach
My approach is informed by a background in anesthesiology, hospice and palliative medicine, and long-standing experience accompanying people through illness, grief, existential distress, and major life transitions. I have completed advanced training in psychedelic therapy and previously worked as a ketamine therapy provider and facilitator in clinical settings. While I no longer provide psychedelic facilitation or ketamine therapy, that experience continues to inform how I approach preparation, psychological safety, and integration. In this work, I remain within my current scope of practice. I do not guide psychedelic experiences or interpret them for you. I offer attentive presence and reflective inquiry, supporting your own meaning-making. This is not psychotherapy. This is not facilitation. It is integration-focused support.
Who This Is For
This service may be appropriate for individuals who are considering a future psychedelic experience and want preparation support, who have had a prior experience and want help integrating it, or who are navigating existential questions or major life transitions. It may also be a good fit for those seeking non-therapeutic, non-pathologizing support and who prefer a grounded, contemplative approach.
Legal & Ethical Note
This service does not involve or endorse illegal activity. Preparation and integration support can be meaningful regardless of when or how an experience occurred, and can also stand alone without any psychedelic use.
